Nevada Election 2026: Early Voting Dates, Candidate Lists, and House Races

Use Nevada's official 2026 resources to find certified candidate lists, early voting dates, and results information.

Nevada's official 2026 election page provides the general-election candidate list, calendar information, and a route to results after polls close.

Which congressional races should readers follow?

Nevada is not in the regular Class II Senate group for the 2026 cycle. Its House races therefore deserve separate attention rather than being folded into an assumed ordinary Senate contest. Source: Senate Class II list.

Special elections, if called, have a separate basis and should be checked through current notices.

Candidate-list terminology matters

A certified list of candidates establishes who appears on the relevant ballot under the state's process. It does not certify the result of the election.

That distinction is easy to miss in a headline. “Certified candidates” and “certified winners” refer to different stages.

Check that the list concerns the general election, not the June primary or an earlier filing stage. An application, withdrawal, or primary appearance should not automatically be treated as final general-election candidacy.

Read Nevada district evidence carefully

A statewide poll can illuminate a statewide office. A House district requires evidence from that constituency.

If coverage cites a national political trend, label it as context. To assess the district directly, inspect boundaries, candidate records, previous comparable elections, and any transparent district survey.

Avoid assigning a precise probability to a race without a documented model.

For voters and international readers

Voters should prioritize their sample ballot and county instructions. International readers should separate state office results from the congressional seat count.

When results begin, use the official links and preserve timestamps. A count can update while remaining unofficial. The eventual national House balance is assembled from district outcomes, not from a single Nevada statewide percentage.
